Wedding Rental Info Sheet
The Maitland Art Center has OUTDOOR ONLY SPACE available for weddings, receptions, memorials and parties. All rentals are with the approval of the Executive Director.

Reserving the Facility:
To reserve the facility, the contract must be
completed and signed. A check for one-half of the total
rental fee plus the Refundable Security Deposit must
accompany the contract. The balance is due two weeks before
the event. PLEASE NOTE: Time necessary for set-up
and clean-up must be included in the rental time.
Security Deposit:
A security deposit of $150.00 is required as part of the
total reservation fee. The deposit will be refunded
if the facility is returned in pre-rental condition – all
trash and bags placed into the green garbage carts.
In the event the facility needs cleaning and/or repairs, all
or part of the deposit will be used to accomplish
cleaning/repair. Additional charges will incur if cleaning
and/or repairs exceed $150.00. Candles may be used provided
they are in appropriate holders with hurricane covers to
avoid wax drippings. Fireplace is not
to be lit under any circumstances.
Refund Policy:
In case of cancellation, 75% of the deposit will be refunded
if notification is made within 30 days in advance. After
that time, only the security deposit will be refunded.
Outdoor rentals are with the understanding that there are
no refunds for events cancelled due to inclement weather,
and no interior spaces are available regardless of weather
conditions.
Rentals:
Rental is for space only. Renters are responsible for
providing/renting chairs, tables, linens, serving pieces,
tents, flowers, music, minister services, etc.
The Art Center provides space, basic electricity, and restrooms. Please make checks payable to the Maitland Art Center and mailed or delivered to 231West Packwood Avenue, Maitland FL 32751-5596. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Call 407.539.2181 for further information and ask for Margaret.
The grounds of the Maitland Art Center are a setting for art work, sculptural works and installations and are rented with art work in place. They are not to be moved or relocated from the area. INT__________
