The Maitland Art Center invites you to participate in the Fresh Art Stand, a monthly showcase of the Emerging Artist Program.  We believe that great art is being made in our own backyard and we want to show it!

Complete this application and return with entry fee to the Maitland Art Center.  Applications will be juried and selected for one Fresh Art Stand within the next few months.  Applicants will be notified of their selected date.

The Fresh Art Stand takes place on the first Sunday of every month with the Maitland Farmer’s Market from 10am-2pm. 

RULES OF ENTRY

1. Each artist must be a current MAC member.
2. A non-refundable application fee of $10.  When your work is selected for a specific date, an additional $10 tent rental fee is required.  Artists are given a 6x6’ table, two chairs, and a standardized tent for set up the day of their event.
3. Works shown in the Fresh Art Stand are for sale and must be priced under $200.
4. A short bio and artist statement for promotional material. Artist resume or CV.
5. One sample image of your work.  JPG. Photograph or print, no slides please.
6. Artists are required to check in with event Co-Chair no later than 9am on their scheduled Sunday.
7. If the first Sunday of the month is rained out, the Fresh Art Stand will move to the following Sunday.  Artists will be notified of any changes.
8. Artists may only show once per six months unless otherwise notified by the Emerging Artist Committee.
9. The Fresh Art Stand is NOT a garage sale or flea market for art work that has been hanging around your house.
